About

TAD changes the lives of people with disability by giving them the things they need in a way that is right for them.
This might include:
  ·      equipment
  ·      technology
  ·      services.
We build and design equipment to help people achieve their goals.
We work across NSW with people:
  ·      of any age
  ·      with any disability.
We know the cost of living with disability.
We keep prices as low as we can by working with volunteers.
Volunteers are people who give their time and skills but don’t get paid.
We give you a quote before we start any work.
Our quote will tell you:
  ·      what we will do
  ·      how much things will cost.
We are a registered NDIS provider.
We can also help you contact other organisations that could help you get more funding.
TAD began in 1975 when a group of engineers decided to help change the lives of people with disability.
Today we have more than 100 skilled volunteers who create hundreds of items each year.
Since we began, other TADs have been established across Australia.

TAD changes lives of people living with a disability by providing personalised equipment, technology and services.

Our core workforce are skilled volunteers who design and build custom equipment to help people achieve their goals. We work across NSW with people of any age and any disability.

We know the cost of living with a disability. As a charity we keep costs as low as possible by working with our amazing volunteers, who give their time and skills for free. A quote is provided before any work commences.

We are a registered NDIS provider and can also help you connect with organisations that may assist by providing further funding. If you do not have access to funding our fundraising will subsidise the cost.

In 1975 a group of engineers decided to use their skills to profoundly change the lives of people living with disability.

Today, TAD’s core workforce consists of over 100 skilled volunteers who donate thousands of hours to designing, building and modifying hundreds of diverse items in NSW every year.
