    Step and Rail to assist transfers to higher benches and toilet for child with disability

    Step and Rail

    The Step and Rail is primarily designed to assist children with limited balance or short stature to transfer safely onto and off the toilet as well as provide support while sitting on the toilet.

    The Step and Rail can also be used to enable a child to access other facilities such as SmartBoards, washbasins, baths and beds.

    Features
    • upper and intermediate rail heights provide adequate reach
    • white powder coated or stainless steel frame
    • non-slip strips across surface
    • rubber-tipped feet for grip
    Extra options
    • additional extension rails can be added for additional support to transfer onto the step or extra side support while on the toilet. These can be hinged to fold back for easy storage.
    • a cut out in the platform to fit around the front of the toilet
    • a step, which can retract under the platform

    Side support chair

    Our side support chair helps children sit on the floor with straight legs.
    It comes with a table you can adjust as your child grows.
    The chair has:
    • a back that supports good posture
    • a safety belt that goes over the lap
    • seat cushions.
    There are different options for the:

    • belt
    • seat cushions.
    The table:
    • can be set to different heights
    • attaches to the chair
    • has lipped edges to keep objects on it.
    Extra options include:
    • a handle that can be removed or adjusted
    • covered cushions can be fitted to the back panels
    • a seat base that can be extended for sitting on the floor with straight legs
    This product is for children aged from 18 months to 10 years.

    Raised side support chair

    This chair is designed to give your child supported seating.
    It comes with a table you can adjust as your child grows.
    The chair has:
    • a back that supports good posture
    • a safety belt that goes over the lap
    • seat cushions
    • a base plate for stability.
    The table:
    • can be set to different heights
    • attaches to the chair
    • has lipped edges to keep objects on it.
    Extra options include:
    • swivel wheels with brakes to make it easier to move
    • a handle that can be removed or adjusted
    • a footplate that can be adjusted
    • footcups that can be fitted to the base plate or the footplate
    • covered cushions that can be fitted to the back panels.
    This product is for children aged from 18 months to 10 years.

    Adjustable chair and table

    This chair is for young children who need support to sit upright and stay stable.
    The chair and table have seats, armrests and tables you can adjust as your child grows.
    The table has lipped edges to keep objects on it.
    Extra options include:
    • a base board for the chair so footcups can be fitted
    • a safety belt that goes over the lap
    • a removable and adjustable handle
    • seat and back cushions.
    This product is for children aged from 2-8 years.

    Mobility walker

    This is a stable walker for children who need extra support while learning to walk.
    The walker has:
    • a counterweight at the front end
    • wheels at the front under the tray that make it easy to steer.
    The size of the walker:

    • width = 330mm
    • height = 285mm
    • length = 420mm.
    The tray is 120mm deep.
    The height of the handle can be adjusted.

    Corner chair

    This chair and adjustable height table helps young children sit in a position that:

    • is well-supported
    • suits the task they are doing.
    The chair has a handle at the front that can be moved to suit the child.
    The table:
    • attaches to the sides of the chair and is height adjustable
    • has lipped edges to keep objects on it.
    Extra options include:
    • a safety belt that goes over the lap
    • seat and back cushions.
    This product is for children aged from 8 months to 5 years.

    Rolling stool

    The rolling stool gives adults working with children mobility while:

    • sitting at low tables
    • helping them learn to walk.
    The seat of the rolling chair is:

    • firmly attached to a platform base
    • mounted on wheels.
    The platform base can be used for storage.
    The seat height is 320mm.
    The seat is 280mm wide and 300mm long.
    The base is 315mm wide and 445mm long.

    Sit to stand ladder

    The sit to stand ladder helps children practise standing up from a sitting position.
    The sit to stand ladder has a sturdy ladder that can be customised to suit your child’s needs.
    The spacing between the seat and ladder can be changed to suit your child’s needs.
    Extra options include:
    • a height-adjustable seat to provide side and back support
    • the ladder and seat can be attached to a base board for extra stability.
    This product is for children aged from1-6 years.

    Standing frame

    This frame has a tray and gives your child forward-leaning support when they are standing.
    The standing frame has:
    • a tilt angle that can be adjusted
    • lipped tray edges that help keep objects on the tray
    • wheels with brakes that allow the frame to be moved easily
    • a footplate that can be lowered to grow with your child
    • simple foot guides to help with foot positioning
    • a padding thickness that can be changed as your child grows in width
    • support straps at hip and chest height.
    Extra options include:
    • cut out guides can be added to the footplate for more specific foot positioning
    • footcups can be attached to the footplate to help keep feet in position
    • the frame can be mounted on heavy duty rubber tyres
    • an extra support strap can be provided.
    This product is for children aged from 1-8 years.
