Support Us

You can change the lives of people living with a disability by supporting TAD volunteers to continue to come up with their clever ideas.  We are able to keep the costs of custom equipment and technology affordable thanks to support from people like you.

You can:

  • … give a grandmother who has had her arm amputated a custom device to independently buckle her grandchildren safely in their car seats and prams with one hand.
  • … help give a child with cerebral palsy the first chance they’ve ever had to ride a bike, built for their specific needs.
  • … give a man who is only able to use one side of his body, as a result of being hit by a train, a one-handed guitar strummer so he can rediscover his love of performing music.

Our volunteers have the technical expertise but to help deliver and coordinate the projects and provide therapist input, they need your support behind them.

How you can make a difference:

Give a gift

A gift to TAD will make a real, practical difference to a person living with a disability.

We never swap or sell your information as we value our loyal, small supporter base and will never take you for granted. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Get involved with an event

Freedom Wheels has been chosen as a charity partner for the Spring Financial Spring Cycle event hosted in Sydney by Bicycle NSW.

Thousands of cyclists enter so this is a big chance to raise funds for the cause you believe in.

If you’d like to help raise funds and join Spring Cycle please do so here.

Spring Cycle is a great day for families and serious cyclists alike. It is non-competitive and has long and short distances to choose from.

You can only imagine how happy mums and dads feel when they watch their child ride away free on their very first bike.

Children with disabilities deserve a first bike too.

Leave a legacy

By leaving a gift if your will you can leave a legacy to change the lives of people with a disability. People for whom a particular piece of equipment, specially designed for them, will be life changing. Equipment that they couldn’t find anywhere else.

That’s what a kind legacy gift from you can do: help give someone with a disability the opportunity to live the best, independent life they can.

Give in memory

When a loved one passes away, you can give a donation in their memory as a celebration of their life. We can send an acknowledgement of your generous gift to the beavered family and can also support donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral if the family or your loved one so wishes.

Contact our Development Manager today to discuss the opportunities available to you to include a gift in your will or collect gifts in memory on 02 9912 3404.
